5. Perhaps your client would like to spend more than a couple of days in a picturesque resort; then the “stay-a-while” cruise programme would be ideal. Perhaps a two-week cruise could be combined with a week in a hotel. There are many combinations from which to choose.

   Формирование  международных организаций было явлением 20-ого века. В настоящее  время есть больше, чем 2500 международных организаций. Среди них больше, чем 130 межправильтельсвенных союзов. Организация Объединенных Наций является самой известной. Другие важные организации – Европейское экономическое Сообщество, организация Североатлантического договора, Организация американских государств, и Совет по Взаимной Экономической помощи.

   Создание  международных организаций в  широком масштабе в 20-ом веке – результат  продвижения технологии коммуникации, транспортировки, войны, и распространения  индустриализации. Это события дали начало смыслу взаимозависимости среди народов мира и заставили людей признать, что важность международного сотрудничества избегает опасностей, решает проблемы, и использует возможности, которые противостоят обществу стран в международном масштабе. The chief modification introduced by the United Nations Charter is the limitation of the rights of subjects of international law under inter-national customary law to threaten or resort to armed reprisals and war.

5. The results of the activity of the international organizations are significant. The UN General Assembly passed a number of resolutions and declarations. They the Nuremberg Principles that dealt with crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity; genocide; The Universal Declaration of Human Rights; the right of peoples and nations to self-determination; permanent sovereignty over natural resources; denuclearization; and non-intervention. The most important of them is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This general agreement that all human beings are entitled to some basic rights marked the birth of the international and universal recognition of human rights.

   When ancient man banged two pieces of metal together he found that he liked the sound, he started a trend. Now thousands of years later, people all in the world are still enjoying the music of bells.

   Historians tell us that the Chinese used bells as long ago as 4000 B.C., so the known story of bells goes back almost six thousand years. The people of the Orient liked to decorate their temples and pagodas from bells that gave out a delicate, tinkling sound on the slightest breeze.

   In ancient Greece and Rome, bells were hung on the tombs of kings, and they also formed part in the equipment of war. Bells made good warning signals.

   From Biblical times on, bells used to decorate clothing. Persian women wore bells on their ankles, and on other parts of the world some high-born ladies decorated their curved shoes with a bell on each pointed toe.

   Around the fifteenth century, society people quit wearing bells as decoration and left that custom to the court jesters (they also called “fools”) usually hired to entertain kings, and the “cap and bells” became their trademark.

   In old times, people believed that demons and ghosts could be scared away the beating gongs or the ringing of bells. In some parts of India, young children wore bells around their ankles to scare away evil spirits, and in Africa, medicine men or witch doctors rang a bell to drive away the evil spirits that caused illness.
