Контрольная работа № 2  по дисциплине "иностранный язык" для студентов I курса (2 семестр начинающие)  

Для выполнения контрольной работы, необходимо усвоить следующие материалы:

1. местоимения (личные, притяжательные, указательные, вопросительные и возвратные);
2. глаголы “to be”, “to have” в настоящем времени;
3. утвердительные, отрицательные и вопросительные предложения с глаголами “to be”, “to have”.

 

I. Прочитайте текст и переведите письменно на русский язык: 

BUSINESSMAN’S DAY 

      Mr. John Turner is 30. He is married and he has got his own family. He has a  

wife, a daughter and a son. His wife is an economist. Her name is Jane. The names of their children are Kate and Peter. They live in a small house in Greenwood. Greenwood is a small place not far from London.

      John works in London. He is the manager of a big trade firm. His firm sells the goods to various countries. In the morning he always goes to his office in London on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He doesn’t go to his office on Saturday and Sunday. These are his days-offs.

     John frequently meets the representatives of English and French firms. They discuss the prices, terms of payment and delivery. He begins his working day at 9. Every morning John first looks through fresh newspapers. He takes much interest in Выбурите the latest political and business news. Sometimes John goes to different cities to discuss business with their customers. He is a very busy man. He always has a lot of work. He looks through mail, reads telegrams and letters, speaks on the phone with the customers. He also makes appointments with his business partners.

      At twelve he has lunch. After lunch he sometimes goes to factories with the inspectors, but sometimes stays in the office and discussed business matters with director or customers. He finishes his working day at 6 o’clock in the evening. He usually comes home at 7. 

ДЕНЬ  БИЗНЕСМЕНА 

     Мистеру Джону Тернеру 30 лет. Он женат, и у  него есть собственная семья. У него есть жена, дочь и сын. Его жена - экономист. Ее зовут – Джейн. Их детей зовут - Кейт и Питэр. Они живут в маленьком доме в Гринвуде. Гринвуд - маленькое местечко недалеко от Лондона.

     Джон  работает в Лондоне. Он менеджер большой  торговой фирмы. Его фирма продает  товары различным странам. Утром  он всегда едет в офис в Лондон в понедельник, во вторник, в среду, в четверг и в пятницу. Он не ходит в офис в субботу и в воскресенье. Это его выходные дни.

     Джон  часто встречается с представителями английских и французских фирм. Они обсуждают цены, сроки оплаты и поставки. Его рабочий день начинается в девять. Каждое утро Джон прежде всего просматривает свежие газеты. Он проявляет большой интерес к последним политическим и деловым новостям. Иногда Джон ездит в другие города, чтобы вести переговоры с их клиентами. Он очень занятый человек. У него всегда много работы. Он просматривает почту, читает телеграммы и письма, говорит по телефону с клиентами. Он также назначает встречи с деловыми партнерами.

     В двенадцать он завтракает. После завтрака, он иногда едет на фабрики с инспекторами, но иногда остается в офисе и обсуждает деловые вопросы с директором или клиентами. Его рабочий день заканчивается в шесть часов вечера. Обычно он приходит домой в семь. 
 

II. Замените выделенные  слова личными местоимениями:

1. Peter helped the pupils to translate text.

III. Выберите правильные притяжательные местоимения:

IV. Преобразуйте предложения по образцу:

V. Поставьте во множественное число:

VI. Употребите нужное возвратное местоимение: 

1. I shall ask him myself.

8. She doesn’t like to speak about herself.

VII. Заполните пропуски нужной формой глагола “to be” и переведите:
