    Sooner or later every person in the world wonders how to bring up a happy child? What kind of atmosphere is necessary for child’s proper emotional development? Is enjoying things essential to a child’s development?

    Child’s development is a process every child goes through. This process involves learning and mastering skills like sitting, walking, talking, skipping, and tying shoes, as well as some social and intellectual abilities. The responsibility for the successful development of a child rests first and foremost with the parents and teachers. But the fact is that they could bring up a child who will be able to read and write perfectly, who will have excellent marks at school, but at the same time who will be absolutely unhappy.

    First of all, the happiness and well-being of the child depends on a degree of love, affectionate and approval parents give him. Child should feel that he is loved and needed, that life is full of bright and positive moments and emotions. Positive emotions mean happiness. Child should enjoy his life. Enjoying things is essential to a child’s development. Through enjoying child learns more, he has a desire to learn, to discover something new and interesting.

    Toddlers develop a sense of humor around 36 months to 48 months. They will repeat things that are funny to them and they love to laugh. Enjoying things begins since this very time and it will continue during the whole life of a child. To bring up a happy kid is in hands of parents. The happy child is not the difficult one. He is not at war with the world, and he is certainly not the future criminal. Unhappy child, in contrast, is a child who is constantly in a bad mood, aggressive, embittered, who wants nothing, not to mention the desire to develop, improve himself, learn and constantly open something new in his life.

    So, parents should spend time playing with their child and do things that make them laugh. Enjoying things, even the simple ones, is the key for a proper child’s development, for his happiness.
